Dream Readers

    My name is Tiffany and I have like many have a passion for all things books. I come from a small town in southwest Michigan, where good local festivities are a blessing and winter is dreaded. Growing up I always found it difficult to make friends, join in group activities, to be included at a time when all we wanted is to be so. Being that I often found myself wanting to be able to relate to others, I found time to spare to read.

    A love for reading did not come to me over night, rather came from the influences within my life at a critical time of development. I grew up with an aunt who loved to read, giving a wonderful example to follow. When I was in middle school I decided to give reading a try. I remember two books that truly formed my love for reading. One was 'The Empty Summer' by Caryl Brooks and 'A Wrinkle in Time' by Madeleine L'Engle.

    As I got into high school I started reading more mature material. As I had said my aunt was an active reader in the family and soon she opened me to a world of paranormal romance authors. Now being twenty-three I question whether my aunt should have lent me the books she did, many of them contain erotic material. I also debate that I was a rather mature teen and handled the material well overall.

      As of present I read many genres but I love paranormal/fantasy romance. Today reading is my passion and I wanted to be able to share my passion and converse with others on the subject, thus the next step being a blog. With the new year I decided it was finally time to make that dream come true, Dream Readers was born. Why the title Dream Readers? As a reader we are often transported into an author's world, a dream of their own. As writers, readers, fans we are dreamers; dream readers.
